The German Six Day events continued to be plagued by problems. The Munich Six Days were canceled a few days ago, leaving only Berlin and Bremen in Germany. The Bremen Six Days are underway, but the racers were stopped in the third night, due to water leaking into the building.

A hole in the roof made the track wet and slippery. The evening was interrupted and organizer Frank Minder canceled the second Madison of the night. “This decision was made to not endanger the health of the riders,” Minder said according to radsport-news.com. “We are feverishly working to fix the damage as quickly as possible.” The race is supposed to continue today.

Iljo Keisse and Robert Bartko are leading the race half-way through, only three points ahead of Bruno Risi and Franco Marvulli. Leon van Bon and Danny Stam are in third place, one lap and 68 points down.
