Saturday the Belgian press reported that Nico Mattan planned to hold an auction for one of Frank Vandenbroucke’s bikes to help pay for the cost of his repatriation.
Vandenbroucke’s manager Paul De Geyter has clarified matters saying that, in fact, the insurance will pay the costs to transport the body from Senegal to Belgium making the auction unnecessary.
