Rene Mandri’s condition is improving after his crash in the Giro d’Italia that left him hospitalized for several days with multiple fractures.

The Estonian rider is back in France now, and his recent medical examinations have brought good news. He has been able to resume workouts on a stationary trainer over the last few days. Mandri will be returning to Estonia soon where he can take advantage of the good weather and begin training on the road again.

Mandri explains, “I resume training little by little and I am optimistic for the future. In any case, I am motivated to come back!” He is expected to return to competition at the end of August.
