Frenchman Geoffroy Lequatre, the 2008 Tour of Britain champion, has signed for RadioShack cycling team that will be spearheaded by Lance Armstrong in 2010, the team said Sunday.

The 28-year-old Lequatre, who is also known for creating his own line of clothes, raced for the Agritubel team this season.

A professional since 2002, Lequatre has also raced with Credit Agricole and Cofidis. Agritubel will end its sponsorship of the team at the end of 2009.

RadioShack, which is set to be known as The Shack once they start racing in 2010 at the Tour Down Under in Australia, are set to sign many of Astana’s current team members with the exception of Spaniard Alberto Contador.

Armstrong raced in the same Astana team as Contador in 2009, the American finishing third on the Tour de France won by the Spaniard.
