The owner of my LBS (Bicycle Emporium, Auburn, Ca) is a Colnago dealer and personally knows Ernesto Colnago. He said Colnago sold 60% of the company to Chimera LLC. Colnago will maintain control of the company for the next 5 years, then it’s a crap shoot to what happens.

I don’t know is this will help. Keith Jackson is over on Facebook. He is the owner of Anacostia Bicycle Company. I could not find an email address.

Just read that Ernesto recently lost his wife and brother. He is 87 years old. Maybe he just want to retire. Too bad. Love my Master X-light….

Colnago are great bikes. Have become outrageously expensive over the years. I eye them all the time. I can buy a complete bike for the price of some of the Colnago frames.

none..I ride solo, never near anyone. Besides that, a mask makes my riding glasses fog up and I would not be able to see a damn thing….

I came up with mine in 1999 after I read a review on the bike I was riding at the time, a Klein Quantum Race. They called it a Zootracer. Maybe I should change it to Red Lantern. Not riding much these days. Have not been on my bike since Jan. Lost all my fire and brimstone.

I’ve got new bike fever. Looking at the 2020 road bikes, it’s hard to find one that comes without Disc brakes. I could not find a single Specialized. Trek has a few. Colnago has a couple, mostly with their cheaper models, such as the CLX. Why is this disc brake thing being jammed down our throat?

    End of rant, thank you…
