    One of the local clubs is doing a Social Distance TT. 12 mile out-and-back with the usual TT rules with a couple of new ones to basically make it a Strava segment we post on private FB page. Screenshot of the time and date then at the end of the week results will be posted. You get as many chances as you want, just post your best time once a week. Two weekly alternating courses. Entry fee? $10.00 suggested donation to some local charity that’s hard hit due to COVID-19 I told them I’m doing it on a mbt so everyone will blame a poor showing on my choice of bike instead of the real reason… I’m slow

    Clever. Sort of a modern-day interpretation of the classic british TT. Good article on cyclingnews about that.

    This was done here years ago. PA Biker initiated virtual iTT challenge 10k IIRC.

    I remember it well. Picked a straight piece of road. Unfortunately the pavement would not have been misplaced in Paris Roubaix and my time sucked according.
