Team Saxo Bank will be looking to come away from Paris-Nice with a yellow jersey for Berliner Jens Voigt or Luxembourger Fränk Schleck. The week long race begins March 8th and ends on the 15th.
Both Voigt and Schleck showed their form in the Tour of California last month, taking 4th overall and the last stage respectively.
Team director Kim Andersen thinks the course will suit the team commenting, “Since they have increased the distance of the prologue time trial, we should have a good chance, either by Jens Voigt or Gustav Larsson to take the first jersey. Both are in fantastic form from the Tour of California.”
