Cervelo TestTeam sprinter Thor Hushovd made up for yesterday’s surprise loss to Nikolay Trusov (Katusha) by taking the sprint in today’s 150.5km stage from Torredembarra to Barcelona. Liquigas rider Fabio Sabatini took second with Greg Henderson (Columbia-High Road) rounding out the podium.

There were no changes in the general classification today, with Alejandro Valverde (Caisse d’Eparnge) maintaining his 15 second lead over the young Irishman Daniel Martin (Garmin-Slipstream).
