The tally for the race includes eighteen ProTour teams and seven professional continental teams receiving a wildcard invitation.

Among the wildcard selection are Belgian continental teams Landbouwkrediet-Tönissteiner and Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator, and Het Nieuwsblad winner Thor Hushovd’s Cervélo TestTeam which has had a strong season to date.

Included in the list is the embattled Fuji-Servetto team, earlier lost their challenge in the Court of Arbitration Sport to ride in the Amaury Sports Organization’s race Paris-Nice.
